Protection of personal data

1. General provisions
1.1. These data protection provisions (hereinafter - "conditions") regulate the basic principles and procedure based on which MB "Kanapis" (hereinafter the Company) processes personal data of customers.
1.2. The processing of customers' personal data is determined by these conditions, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating the collection of such data.
2. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
2.1. The Company processes the Client's personal data for the following purposes:
2.1.1. When concluding and executing service provision and/or purchase-sale contracts with the Client;
2.1.2. For customer identification, in order to properly fulfill the service provision and/or purchase-sale contract;
2.1.3. in direct marketing, with the Customer's consent;
2.2. When processing data, the company follows the following basic data processing principles:
2.2.1. personal data is collected for defined and legitimate purposes and is not further processed for purposes incompatible with those established before the collection of personal data;
2.2.2. personal data is processed accurately, fairly and legally;
2.2.3. personal data are accurate and, if necessary for the processing of personal data, are constantly updated, and inaccurate or incomplete data are corrected, supplemented, destroyed or their processing is stopped;
2.2.4. personal data are identical, appropriate and only to the extent necessary for their collection and further processing;
2.2.5. The customer's personal data is stored for a set period of time, but no longer than the terms set by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania, and after the expiration of the personal data storage term, they are destroyed.
2.3. The Company processes the following personal data of the Client:
2.3.1. basic information, ie name, email address or telephone number;
2.3.2. data related to the provision of services and/or goods, i.e. the service and/or product, its order details, payment details (ie product price, payment method), product delivery method, delivery location address, contact details (e-mail address or /and phone number).
2.4. The customer's personal data is obtained directly from the customer.
2.5. For the purpose of delivering the goods, the Company has the right to use third parties who perform the processing of the Customer's personal data assigned to them by a written contract or a separate instruction, except in cases where laws and other legal acts provide otherwise.
2.6. The company provides services, goods or other service-related information that may be relevant to the Client, is provided to the Client at the e-mail specified by him. by post The customer has the right to always disagree or refuse to provide information to the e-mail address he specified. by post The customer is provided with a clear, free and easy-to-implement option to object to or opt-out of such use of contact data for the above purposes by sending each email message. by mail .

The following data may be processed for direct marketing purposes: name, surname, phone number, e-mail, e-mail. If the Customer does not consent to the Company processing his personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, the Customer's personal data is not processed for the purpose of direct marketing.

The customer can withdraw his/her given consent to processing data for the purpose of direct marketing at any time by submitting a request to the following contacts:  e-mail by mail .

2.7. The customer must provide accurate and correct data. In the event that the Customer's personal data changes after their submission, the Customer must inform the Company immediately.
2.8. The client, submitting a request to MB Kanapis  has the right:

  • receive information about your personal data and the purposes for which it is processed, 

  • require correction of incorrect data. 

  • require the Company to stop processing the Client's personal data, except in cases where such data processing is mandatory according to the applicable laws;

2. The Customer has the right to apply to the State Data Protection Inspectorate if he believes that the Customer's rights have been violated.
2.12. The Company implements appropriate organizational and technical measures to protect the Client's personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, as well as from any other unlawful processing.
2.13. The Company has the right to partially or completely change the Privacy Terms by notifying the customer.

Payment Methods

Right to cancel an order

  • All orders placed online, e-mail can be canceled by mail or phone. The customer can cancel the order no later than 7 days after the delivery of the cabin. In case of order cancellation, the customer must inform the manufacturer by e-mail. by mail or fax. To cancel an order for a modified cabin or a custom cabin, we reserve the right to deduct 20-50% of the advance payment, depending on the stage of the cabin's production.

  • The order can be returned only in the same complete set, in the original packaging (as at the time of delivery): no damage to the packaging, changes in shape are allowed and can be treated as a basis for not accepting the returned goods.

  • Upon agreement on the termination of the order, the manufacturer undertakes to return the amount paid, after deducting the transport costs, within 30 days of the cancellation of the order.

  • The goods of the canceled order must be returned to the place indicated by the manufacturer at the expense of the customer. The manufacturer can arrange delivery of the goods to the warehouse, but the related costs will have to be covered by the customer.

  • During the return of the goods, the customer and the manufacturer sign the deed of return of the goods.

Return of goods

The buyer has the right to return the wooden house to the manufacturer within 14 days. after delivery.

When returning goods, it is necessary to comply with the following conditions:

  • the returned product must be of the same configuration, in the original, neat packaging: no damage to the packaging, no changes to the shape are allowed and can be treated as a basis, the returned product will not be accepted

  • the product must be undamaged by the Buyer;

  • the product must not have lost its commercial appearance (label intact, protective film not torn off, etc.) (this clause does not apply in the case of returning a defective product);

  • the returned item must be in the same package as it was delivered to the buyer;

  • the painted cabin or its details cannot be returned;

  • when returning the product, it is necessary to present the document of its purchase.

  1. During the return of the goods, the Buyer and the Seller sign the deed of return of the goods.

  2. Returned goods must be delivered to the place specified by the Seller at the expense of the Buyer. The seller can arrange the delivery of the goods to the warehouse, but the related costs will have to be covered by the buyer.

  3. Returned goods must be delivered to the location specified by the manufacturer at the customer's expense. The manufacturer can arrange delivery of the goods to the warehouse, but the related costs will have to be covered by the customer.

  4. During the return of the goods, the customer and the manufacturer sign the deed of return of the goods.

  5. If both parties agree on the return of the goods, the manufacturer undertakes to return the amount paid by the customer (after deducting the transport costs, if the manufacturer organizes the delivery of the goods himself), within 30 days after the goods are returned to the manufacturer.

  6. Quality bituminous tiles can be returned, but only in the original packaging, with the customer paying all associated transport costs.

  7. Quality windows and doors are not returnable.

Return of defective goods

All log cabins for sale are new and comply with the specification and product description (unless otherwise stated).
If the product is delivered damaged, broken parts can be seen already during delivery, the customer can return the goods to the manufacturer immediately and demand a refund.
In case of damage to the packaging, or if the delivered product parts are of poor quality, the manufacturer may require the submission of photos of the defective parts.
Damaged goods/missing parts: In case of damaged or missing parts, the manufacturer undertakes to provide new parts.

VAT tax

  • The prices of all goods are indicated with 21% VAT.

  • The manufacturer reserves the right to change product prices and specifications without notice. This does not apply to confirmed orders.

Cabins to order

  • Before ordering a non-standard cabin, an advance payment of at least 50% of the order value is required.

  • If the customer cancels the order, he must cover all costs incurred by the manufacturer in connection with the production of the canceled order.

  • Houses made to order are those that are not indicated and described on the website, as well as if the size of the standard houses, wall configurations, etc. change

Notes

  • Please note that wood is a natural product, it may have cracks, splits, branches, the board may be slightly warped. 2-3 percent vertical deviation of the wall is not considered a defect. 

  • Thin-walled wooden houses are delivered in a flat pack, not assembled. Assembly is usually easily done by 2 adults.

  • All houses are sold unpainted, unimpregnated. The cabin must be painted/impregnated within 14 days of assembly.

  • We recommend painting the house with covering paint, which will cover cracks, splits, branches, if they are present.

  • The wooden garden house is characterized by a light roof structure, which is suitable for bituminous roof tiles or others. easy roofing. The light roof construction does not support heavy snow loads, the maximum possible load is 30 kg/m2. It is important to note that wet snow can weigh significantly more than loose and dry snow. In this case, it is necessary to regularly clean the roof so that its structure does not bend.

  • When the slope of the roof of the house is less than 12 degrees or the roof is single-sloped, it is recommended to use a waterproofing material - laid under the roof covering.

  • It is recommended to use a waterproofing material under the floorboards to protect the floorboards from moisture.

  • It is recommended to put self-expanding tape in the frames to seal the seams and provide resistance to climatic conditions.

  • If the cabin is located in an open area and there is likely to be rain with a side wind, we recommend sealing (e.g. silicone) between the window and the rim on the sides, especially at the top.

  • It is recommended to control the humidity inside the cabin to avoid condensation on the windows.

  • If you intend to insulate the house, we recommend changing the windows and doors to windows and doors with a lower thermal conductivity coefficient. Otherwise, condensation may accumulate on the glass. 

  • Wooden houses for sale are considered temporary structures that are not suitable for permanent living in them.

  • All necessary projects, construction permits, etc. the buyer must take care of the work.

  • The buyer must ensure that the density of the soil is stable or provide the documents of soil tests, which are required when choosing the type of foundation.

Payment Methods

  • Ordering a wooden house

    Ordering a wooden house can be done online. We use a secure system, so your personal data is protected.

  • The payment of the remaining amount must be made before the goods are unloaded from the manufacturer's warehouse.

    Payment is possible only by bank transfer.

    After ordering online, e-mail by mail or fax, you will receive an order confirmation, which you must clarify and/or confirm.

    After receiving confirmation of your order, the manufacturer has the right to cancel the order for the reasons listed below:

  • The product is out of stock and this type of product is no longer produced, in which case the manufacturer can provide an alternative model and inform about it by e-mail. by mail or phone. You will have the opportunity to refuse the proposed alternative model, the full amount paid will be returned.

  • Payment for goods not received.

  • An error has been detected in the product description.

  • It is not possible to deliver the goods to the address you specified.

  • Due to additional transport costs, payment was not received from the customer.

  • If the product price is incorrectly specified and the manufacturer does not have the opportunity to sell the product at the specified price. In this case, we will notify you about the final price of the product, you can either order the product at the confirmed price or cancel the order. In case of cancellation of the order, the manufacturer undertakes to return the entire amount paid.
